You will need an ink stone as well. You grind these with water onto an ink stone to make a liquid ink. Grind one after the other to make shades of colour.
The box they come in is 11 cm x 9 cm x 1.5 cm and the lid is of glass so invoke GUARD on the shipment.
The ink sticks are 8 cm long x 2 cm x .75 cm each and there are 5 colours in ink sticks.
