Melamine here is a very heavy compressed plastic. Not micro wave proof, good for dish washers.Slightly droppable. ( Can be accidentally dropped if not too severe a fall.
Some use these to serve canapes on. If not canapes then those little morsels sent out in social/ business/ networking events ( do's).
