New Zealand made 57cm diameter Wok.
Made in Mt Maunganui, and made with NZ Steel. Slightly flat bottomed.
These are not super deep like Chinese ones at 13 cm deep.( 5 inches).
57cm wide or as we usually describe them, 22.5 inches wide, not including the handles which have some wood on
to enable handling without gloves.
We have had these a while, and they have picked up some rust,
so please use a rotary sander and new mild steel carbon steel cookwares need preparing before use anyway.
so also use sandsoap or other with steel wool scrubbers to get grease and rust off. Then rinse well, and
immediate heat dry, then wipe all surfaces with a towel with a little cooking oil in it while the wok is still quite hot.
Some use these big woks for wifi or portable tv aerial dishes or also as braziers or to burn fires in.
