Wah Lee tortilla Press
Perhaps thiis can be called The Wah Lee dim sum Press. You know, like at Yum Cha?
The lovely dim sums made with wheat starch dough balls pressed flat with this and when filled
and steamed look a little trannslucent? I felt that the dumplings we enjoy now were very crude the first time I tried them decades ago in China. But specifically the dim sums are Gow Jee in Cantonese, and you can also make Har Kao and Goo Choy Gow too.No need for Mandarin as these are all Cantonese delicacies., ho ho.
Made in NZ, in Mt Maunganui, made decades ago, they could rocket up in price if we had another lot made. These are of rugged Kiwi construction. Get one for a memento of Wah Lee. No business is here forever.
