Steam is hotter than boiling water, so becareful of your hand. Put product onto the slats at times, maybe oiling them, but usually into a plate or onto some baking paper or creatively into cabbage leaves or lotus or bamboo leaves.Steamers usually come as sets of a bamboo steamer lid with two bases for steaming in. But we have included prices for a base and a lid for Restuarants or others tha would like to display their food. The lid will keep the heat in for a bit. Some add oil with a little ginger fried in it as a drizzle over steamed food for yin yang purposes as well as keeping heat in and a little flavour.
