Lighter Paj silks are diaphanously transparent. They are 5 mommies.

Twill is the silk much used also for ties ticker at 14.5 mommies.

Habotai is like Paj but thicker.at 8 mommies( a unit of thickness description that some use).

There are those that know how to prepare these for dyeing and painting. Colours come up vibrantly and there is plenty of Creative room left for you to aim to PIVOT to the highest.

Some guides use this artistic endeavour as a part of rehabilitation.
