Made in Italy. I have just finished the book 1434 and it is fascinating the history of the relationship of China to Italy and maybe the Tuscany area in particular. The information shared was of a high learning caliber and was the basis of Leonardo DA Vinci's excellent work. So it is not unreasonable to see such loving care put to making a Mahjong set by Italian craftsmen, or women?
The box size is 29cm x 22.5cm x 6cm.
The tiles are 2.9cm x 2.2cm x 1.3cm in size.
8 sets of Shiny mahogany.
8 sets are in another type of wood box a lighter brown and not shiny or polished.
