What more can I say, except that it is not for the microwave, but being cast Iron on the base would be for the oven, or on the stove top, and would be fine for induction. Please keep the wooden base separate and only use it for displaying or carrying the tagine. I am sure that many are human and have an "I" and are not total idiots, but of course one often has to say these things, as the are many empty eyed soulless human looking " people" around. They probably wouldn't be reading this or be interested in this thing of beauty and function anyway?
