27cm(10"), Flat bottom design for use on cook tops like gas, induction or Ceramic. Dare I say, if you keep the handle away from the flames or charcoal, it will be excellent for out doors on the rocks with sticks or charcoal or on your BBQ. In those situations, you can let the contents catch alight before shaking them to put out again as both an exciting way to cook visually, but it also adds some smoky flavour too, or takes the alcohol out of the wine you add so that the flavour and moistening effects of marinating in sauces including wine can be utilised. Be ware if doing that indoors unless your kitchen can handle the big flames that may shoot up.
