These can fit on fairy lights. Put in the fitting that forces the little lantern into a perfect ball shape, and slip the light bulb into the slit at the top of each fitting. In the daylight, the nylon lantern will shine much more brightly than the paper ones without any lights inside. They pick up the sun and stand out.
