If any of the Tortoiseshell blinds do not look square when hung up, please tie a book to the higher end and after a while the blind will straighten out.
Also, any 'dirt' on blinds is the carbon from the burning used to get this tortoiseshell effect. True tortoiseshell look bamboo is very expensive and rare now.
All roll-up blinds come complete with cup hook hangers and cord cleats. These are contained in a plastic packet inside the rolled up blind. To install, untie the long draw cord ( and do not untie the pulleys ). Unroll the blind. Screw cup hooks into the window frame or wall and hang the blind. Position the cord cleat to hold excess cord and to hold the blind at the required height. Maximum widths- being the length of the shipped package- on rural and certain areas may be 1.9 metres , so we may have to decline your order in certain circumstances.
However we are always discovering more shippers, so let us know if in this situation and we may work out a shipping quote if given your address or an address nearby that is willing to accept your deliveries. We did find that Aramex/Fastway couriers will take it to your depot up to 2.44 metres , but no further than your local depot. If you have a depot, it may not be rural and will save us paying for a rural delivery ticket. So best to give us your depot address if known.
There are some that may have the tortoiseshell effect by use of flame burning techniques, ways, so they may look as if there is dirt on. This is the burned bits of bamboo. Not all are like that, but you may need a stiff brush to get off the loose bits if they exist.
