A great idea??? Sometimes I have lights or automatic devices. If I use standard batteries and forget about them, the batteries will sometimes be slimy and will have rusted out the fittings as well as busted the device. I just found a device where we had used these rechargeable batteries that though dead, looked pristine and only need refilling with electricity which we will do.
