Played like the Japanese Shakuhachi, though not sounding anything like it. Played by blowing over the end.Like over the mouth of a bottle.
Also called Xiao flute.
The first note is on the reverse, this is left open on playing another note.
Purse your lips to pass a focused stream of air over the knotch.
Use a p/ f /rr/d or a t tongue to change the musicality of the air stream. Or use a t' K or a p'p't'. We have a dearer one like this.
