MATCHSTICK BLINDS. Sizes as width x drop. No trims for a while.
By the way, cup hooks screws and cleats are found in a little bag that you need to unroll the whole blind to get to. So no need to visit Bunnings.
Certain areas and rural do not allow for delivery of blinds more than 1.9 metres width, so I may have to decline your order and contact you if that is the case. If you feel that you are in this position, why not visit, or make up the sizes using two blinds on the same window? Actually Maximum widths for rural or certain areas is 1.9metres, so we may have to decline or contact you about your order in certain circumstances, sorry, our blinds up to up to 2.44 metres in length, but no further than your local depot. If you have a depot, it may not be rural and could save us paying for a rural delivery ticket. So best to give us your depot address if known. Or we could write care of (c/o) your depot as your delivery address. We have access to TIL ( name change to MOVe freight) now. They are typically $60 or $66 or so for small to large. They also say that they do not guarantee fragile product safety and will not promise fast freight. A new contact but very expensive is DHL and they handle bulk and outsized shipments, even internationally. Ask them if they will do door to door.
All a matter of covering their bases no doubt because we have had no complaints from using them.
I may need to ask you for a top up on the freight charged for. One positive is that I think that they are door to door. Many losses occur at transition depots.
Many seem to have liked/ loved these Matchstick Blinds over the years.
New comers that may expect perfection of some sort, uniformity, or any super so called professional look to these may be disappointed. Hand made. Differences, a broken piece stitched in here or there. It is not for those that love material curtains. Please note the far lower price that you are paying here compared to those too. Also as regards trimming, the length is depending on whether you tug out the blind or not, and in fact, the uneven drop may be rectified by tugging at the shorter looking side too.
All roll-up blinds come complete with cup hook hangers and cord cleats. These are contained in a plastic packet inside the rolled up blind. To install, untie the long draw cord ( and do not untie the pulleys ). Unroll the blind. Screw cup hooks into the window frame or wall and hang the blind. Position the cord cleat to hold excess cord and to hold the blind at the required height. Some have a self lock and some do not. You may end up with both in the same room.
The cutter (Chris ) comes from Sat to Sundays so bear this in mind. Buy the cutting and go the cart, not to checkout until you have got all you want from our website.
For cutting, the notes on needed sizes is put into the notes area after paying during the Checkout /Payment process.
Don't go to checkout until all is added to the cart. Then your address goes in twice ( handy if you are paying for them to be delivered to someone else. Finally, add the blinds bought you want cut and to what dimensions ( shape) you want them to be. Width cuts are $20, and drop cuts are $30.
As regards trimming, it s not an exact process. Blinds are stretchy, and sometimes strings are in the way for cutting.
At the moment are all sorts of dramas and so please bear with us as trimming services are not assured to be available. Thanks to some customer's prayers, some dramas have been averted. Drama levels lowered. New drama is that no plans for new shipments is in the wind.
