A couple of nice Chinese girls brought back a packet.
I had just been watching a video on the incredible advances in both rural and town areas,
but as a youngster I know hard it was to get things like these. Goodness, chucked away now but we used to wash and reuse our bamboo leaves ( and satay sticks too).
I guess a negative side of great advancements is the loss of frugality. Not a good sign though as we see with the downfall of so many great again places including China itself at one stage.
